Service Scheduling & Availability

How quickly can you schedule service for my boat? +

For routine maintenance and repairs, we typically schedule service within 3-5 business days. Monthly maintenance program members receive priority scheduling.

Do you work weekends or after hours? +

Our standard business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend service is available by appointment only.

How far in advance should I schedule seasonal services? +

We recommend scheduling seasonal services at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Services like AC prep for summer and bottom cleaning are in high demand during seasonal transitions, and early scheduling ensures you get your preferred time slot. Monthly maintenance program members receive automatic reminders and priority booking for seasonal services.

Pricing & Payment

How do you charge for services - hourly or flat rate? +

We use a combination approach depending on the service. Routine maintenance services often have flat-rate pricing for predictability. Diagnostic work and repairs are typically billed hourly, but we always provide estimates before beginning work. Our monthly maintenance programs are subscription-based with predictable monthly fees.

Are parts included in your service pricing? +

Parts and materials are billed separately from labor unless specifically noted otherwise (such as in oil change packages that include oil and filters). We source genuine OEM parts and quality aftermarket alternatives, and we always obtain approval before ordering expensive parts. Monthly maintenance program members receive discounted pricing on parts.

What payment methods do you accept? +

We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), and bank transfers. For larger projects, we can arrange payment plans. Monthly maintenance program fees can be paid via automatic credit card billing for your convenience.

Service Details & Policies

Do I need to be present during service? +

No, you don't need to be present. Most of our clients provide us with keys or access codes, and we perform service while they're at work or away. We maintain strict security protocols, and all technicians are background-checked and bonded. We'll send you a detailed report with photos when service is complete.

How do you handle boat access and security? +

We take security very seriously. All keys are stored in a secure lockbox with limited access. We maintain detailed logs of who accesses your vessel and when. Our technicians carry proper identification and our company vehicles are clearly marked. We're fully insured and bonded, and we treat every vessel with the utmost respect and care.

What happens if you discover additional issues during service? +

If we discover issues beyond the scope of the scheduled work, we'll contact you immediately with details and a cost estimate before proceeding. For urgent safety issues discovered during monthly maintenance visits, we'll alert you right away and can often address minor problems on the spot with your authorization. You're always in control of what work gets done.

Monthly Maintenance Program

What's the minimum commitment for the monthly maintenance program? +

We require a minimum 3-month initial commitment to establish baseline data for your vessel and develop familiarity with its systems. After the initial period, the program continues month-to-month with 30 days notice for changes or cancellation. Most of our clients find such value in the program that they continue indefinitely.

Can I pause my monthly maintenance during periods when I'm using the boat frequently? +

Yes, the program is flexible. If you'll be using your boat extensively (such as a summer cruise), we can adjust the schedule or pause visits. However, we generally recommend at least quarterly visits even during heavy-use periods, as our inspections often catch issues that active use might mask. We'll work with you to find the right schedule.

Specialized Services

Can you service boats that are out of the water? +

Yes, we service boats both in the water and on the hard (dry storage). Many maintenance tasks are actually easier when the boat is out of the water, particularly hull work, bottom cleaning, through-hull service, and running gear maintenance. Just let us know your boat's location and we'll schedule accordingly.

Do you work on all types and sizes of boats? +

We service powerboats and sailboats from 20 feet to 70+ feet, including cruisers, sportfishers, trawlers, center consoles, and sailing yachts. Our team has experience with a wide range of makes and models. If your boat has unique systems or specialized equipment, please mention it when contacting us and we'll confirm we have the appropriate expertise.
